International students from more than 100 countries are eligible for admission to Maynooth University's numerous undergraduate and graduate programs. With around 11,500 undergraduate and 2,465 graduate students, the university has a total enrolment of 15,180 students. The remaining 165 students are engaged in PhD programs, while approximately 1,100 are pursuing other academic interests. Twice a year, in the fall and spring, applications are invited for admission to Maynooth University. For postgraduate admissions at Maynooth University, there is an application cost of 50 EUR. While undergraduate admissions call for a non-refundable cost of 30 EUR.
Maynooth University Admission: Selection Criteria
Since admissions to Maynooth University are only moderately selective, the acceptance rate is 73%. This suggests that students with strong academic records are more likely to be accepted during the admissions process. However, those meeting the minimal eligibility requirements may get a conditional offer or be on a waiting list. In order to determine whether a student is a good fit for the course, the university may also ask them for an interview.
