The first technological university in Ireland, TU Dublin, was established on 1^st January, 2019, by the merger of the previous Dublin Institute of Technology, Institute of Technology Tallaght, and Institute of Technology Blanchardstown,. At TU Dublin, which has 28,500 students, the arts, business, science, engineering, and technology all come together.

The new university, one of Ireland's largest institutions of higher learning, offers students from all over the world pathways to completion that range from foundational through undergraduate to Ph.D. programs. TU Dublin is a part of the European University Association and is publicly sponsored.

Since TU Dublin is an independent institution that confers doctorates, all their degrees are accepted globally. The university is also proud of its stellar reputation. They offer possibilities for exchange in various disciplines and have numerous international links. The European University of Technology will be founded in 2020 by TU Dublin and its European partners in the EUt+ Consortium.

They encourage applications from students at any stage of their studies, including Foundation, Undergraduate, and PhD students. If you are transferring from another university, you may also apply for advanced entry into Year 2 or Year 3 of an undergraduate program.

TU Dublin is the only university in the nation to offer specialized programs in fields like optometry, human nutrition, transport & logistics, environmental health, and tourism marketing. The three major population centers in Dublin City, Blanchardstown, and Tallaght—all conveniently reached by public transportation—are where TU Dublin is situated on campuses.

·        The Grangegorman main campus, located in Dublin's northern inner city, is home to nearly 10,000 students. The campus has a well-equipped library, computer labs, study rooms, student wellness centers, a canteen, and administrative buildings.

·        The 18 hectare Tallaght Campus is a tiny campus that is located on the southwest edge of Dublin City. It is one of the most varied and multicultural campuses, with over 5,000 undergraduate and 60 graduate students from over 70 nations. The campus also houses a Technical development center, lecture halls, and the "synergy" incubator center.

·        The Blanchardstown complex, which spans 22.5 hectares, is made up of eight 22,000 square-meter buildings. The expansive campus is well-equipped with workshops, a sports hall, a fitness center, and a number of restaurants. It also has a computer and electronic clubs.

·        The 5,000-student Aungier Street campus is home to the TU Dublin College of Business, the largest business school in Ireland, and is just a short stroll from St. Stephens Green.

·        Over 40 sports clubs provide cutting-edge athletic facilities, such as fitness centers, studios, sports halls, etc.
