    Postgraduate Entry Requirement for International Students

    Dundalk Institute of Technology's entrance requirements (percentage or CGPA) - 60% or a CGPA of 6.0

    Students must hold an NQAI Level Eight award in the relevant field or an equivalent qualification (at least Grade 2 level, 2nd Class Honors).

  • The highest-performing students from the BSc (Hons) in Sustainable Agriculture and BSc (Hons) in Food and Agri-Business will receive bursaries through a partnership between DkIT and ABP, one of Europe's top privately owned agribusiness corporations.
  • Nursing and midwifery students at DkIT may apply for the Servisource Nursing Scholarship thanks to a partnership between DkIT and the healthcare recruitment expert.
  • The Bernard Duffy Scholarship is given to two first-year students at DkIT each year. Each year, in late September or early October, applications are opened for the scholarships, each worth €3,000 over a maximum of four years.
  • DkIT Sports Scholarships are given yearly to full-time enrolled students who excel in their chosen sport and demonstrate high achievement, devotion, and commitment. These are given out in various sports, and many of them are designated for first-year students.
  • Sanctuary Schemes — There are two components to the DkIT Sanctuary Scheme: 
  1. Sanctuary Scholarships for individuals with Official Refugee Status who are disqualified for the "free fees" simply because of not having been in the nation for the required time (three years). 
  2. Fee support is available for those eligible for the Student Support Scheme. 
  • Kickstart Scholarship — The KickStart Scholarship Fund is a recently established scholarship, established by the Probation Service and supported by the Irish Prison Service, to support people with a history of criminal justice who are experiencing socioeconomic disadvantage to access higher education (HE).
