IBAT College Dublin

In May 2004, Shane Ormsby established the Institute of Business and Technology College in Dublin, Ireland. He is the college's major stakeholder and director. From 2009 to 2011, the college was known as IBAT College Swords. Investing more than €1 million for renovations, IBAT opened the Dublin City Campus at Wellington Quay in the summer of 2011. GUS (Global University Systems) purchased a majority interest in IBAT College Dublin in October 2016. As their English Language School grew, IBAT leased two floors at 60-63 Dawson Street in December 2016 to extend its physical presence. At IBAT College Dublin, more than 1,500 students represent 45 nations.

IBAT College Dublin Campus

IBAT College Dublin's original campus was located in the Swords neighborhood of North Dublin on Foster Bay. In 2006, the Higher Education and Training Awards Council (HETAC) granted program validation to IBAT. The college relocated to the main campus at Temple Bar, in the heart of Dublin, and changed its name from IBAT College Swords to IBAT College Dublin. GUS provided IBAT with marketing and student recruitment support in 2014 following a contract. At that point, GUS has also contributed to the digitization of the ACCA accountancy course materials. Four well-equipped IT labs are available on campus for courses like Desktop Publishing, Programming, and Data Analytics. These labs provide a variety of specialized programs. There are also libraries and other academic facilities on campus. Through material Literary Workshops, on-site librarians assist students in developing skills such as avoiding plagiarism, analyzing material, accurately citing, and so on. Both campuses offer a number of canteens and breakout areas where students can relax and socialize. The college is claimed to have catered mostly to pupils from countries other than Ireland. IBAT College Dublin Program Structure

There are seven main components to the IBAT Full-Time MBA program. Each is intended to give applicants a distinct viewpoint on the various business operations segments in addition to the necessary skill set.

Financial Management

The Financial Management module offers an extensive examination of the financial methods and procedures that support and facilitate effective management and well-informed corporate strategy.

Contemporary Logistics Management

Strategic Management

Marketing Management

The different marketing channels that are available, along with pertinent thought processes, tactics, and marketing strategies, will all be covered in the Marketing Management module. 

Human Resources Management

International Business

Dissertation and Associated Research Project

The Full-Time MBA program will require candidates to complete a final dissertation project.
