Since 2006, St. Angela's College in Sligo has been affiliated with the National University of Ireland in Galway. The college has been an official member of the National University of Ireland since 1978. The Ursuline Order established St. Angela's College in Sligo in 1952.

Undergraduate Program

The undergraduate programs, which provide the only university-level degree in the area, are accredited in accordance with National University of Ireland standards. Postgraduate Program

Within the three academic departments, the college provides students with a variety of full- and part-time Master's Research programs. By 2014–2015, the College hopes to offer PhD programs and doctoral study.

Erasmus Programme

St. Angela's College actively supports the Erasmus Program by offering opportunities for staff and students to travel.
