FAQ

1.What are the entry requirements for your courses? Do I need points?

To begin a course, you do not require "points." Generally speaking, you should have finished your leaving certificate, but it's still advisable to apply as there may be exceptions in some situations.

Certain courses demand particular prerequisites, such as a portfolio of artwork or a dance audition. For specifics on those, please visit the college website for the relevant course.

2.Is an interview required in order to get selected?

You don't need to attend an interview for the majority of their courses. Upon submitting your application form, you will get an offer of a provisional spot. This offer is contingent upon your fulfillment of the course's admission requirements.

Please be aware that Inchicore College of Further Education arranges interviews for courses that require a certain kind of application, like an audition or portfolio. When you apply, you will be made aware of this and given information on what needs to be done as well as a date.

3.What are the hours of the courses?

Although each course has a different schedule, these are typically full-time. This implies that a typical college day would begin at nine or ten in the morning and end between three and four in the afternoon. You may have a half-day or a later start on certain days.

If your obligations prevent you from enrolling in a full-time course, Inchicore College also offers a selection of part-time courses that might interest you. Here is additional information about our fantastic part-time opportunities.

4.Can I use these courses to progress on to Higher Education?
