FAQ

    1.Does taking a course at Liberties College require points?

    No points are needed to enroll in any of their courses.  Generally speaking, candidates must present their Leaving Certificate and may need to participate in an interview. It could be required to submit a portfolio of work for some courses. See the individual course pages for the requirements for each course.

    2.I am a Non EU International Applicant ?

    Foreign (non-EU) students are obliged to adhere to Irish immigration laws, which may call for one or more of the following:

    • Permit for Irish Residency (Stamp 4)

    • A letter from the Minister of Justice authorizing them to work in the State; this is known as the Labour Market Permission Letter.

    English is used to give every lesson. It is recommended that learners be proficient in both written and spoken English in order to get the most out of the course they have selected. As part of the interview process, learners could be asked to complete an assessment of their English language proficiency.

    3.Are there fees for my course?

    Full-time day courses cost €50 each. This registration fee is not refundable.

    4.Does admission at Liberties College require an interview?

    Your application for a course will be processed and acknowledged. An audition, portfolio, or interview may be necessary for some courses. When you apply, you will be made aware of this and given information on what needs to be done as well as a date.

    5.Can I proceed to higher education by using the courses I took at Liberties College?
