- A current, appropriate passport-style photo
- A photocopied ID card or passport serving as proof of identity
- A copy of your Leaving Certificate results, upon receipt if you are a school leaver.
- In the case of applicants who do not hold a Leaving Certificate, a statement of results from their most recent course
- Please submit your Labour Market Permission letter or GNIB card (stamp 4) if you are an applicant from outside the EU.

The first-come, first-served policy applies to the allocation of spots, contingent upon space availability and fulfillment of any prerequisites for the particular course.
Step 3: Pay The Registration Fee
For 2023–2024, the City of Dublin ETB has lowered the cost of every PLC course to €50.
Pay your non-refundable €50 registration fee online to secure your place.
Step 4: Finish Registering and Attach Your Files

1.What should I apply for?
Generally speaking, you must have earned at least five ordinary level passes on your Leaving Certificate or its equivalent. Students with Leaving Certificate Vocational, Leaving Certificate Applied, or FETAC Level 4 certificates are encouraged to apply. When exceptional circumstances exist, an exception may be made. For mature students, the Leaving Certificate is not mandatory, and suitable experience might be viewed as a substitute for the Leaving Certificate.
